I had the catfish dinner and my husband had the cod, they were both delicious! We will certainly be back. The only thing I would change is that the mac and cheese needed more seasoning. The greens were good and uniquely seasoned. So happy I found this spot, I was sent here by Derrick D.Moore's "Unc" videos and he is right this place is fire 🔥🔥🔥
We came in, only one guy in the back cooking, he gave us a nod to acknowledge us. The kiosk was easy to use had great pictures to help you decide what you want. Had the Cod, fries, and coleslaw, all of it tasted amazing and hand prepared! Will definitely come back next time we come to a Cavs game.
Detroit to Cleveland by bus. This was across from the hotel. I wasn't up to walking far so it was a welcome sight. I knew as soon as I saw a slice of loaf bread, I knew I was good. Order was contactless (kiosk). No problems there. Only one person I saw working, and he was moving.👨🏾🍳 We exchanged nods as soon as he noticed me. 👊🏾 Cool spot, right by the hotel, stadium and Rocket Arena (where my Pistons handled the Cavs). I had leftovers that were more appealing then the stadium fare, hoping my perch dinner passed the leftover test. Yup. Maybe I was hungry, but it was almost better the next day. I'd for sure go back.
I will come here every time I visit Ohio! Everything was well seasoned and perfectly fried! And the choice of sauces is amazing!
Clean environment, nice customer service. I had been craving 😺 🐟 and they did not miss🤗 juicy and flavorful.... Only thing prepare to pay for sides. It comes with 🍟.🤷🏾♀️ Next time I'll try sides. Side note my mom enjoyed their 🍗🍗🍗
My wife and I got the orange roughly fish and fries. The food was cooked well and seasoned but not over seasoned and the person working was helpful and quick. Great spot
Good and hot fish. We ordered through the convenient order terminal up front. Catfish, fries and a slice of bread, 3 piece perch and fries. Mac and cheese on the side. The catfish was generous portion. The Mac and cheese was amazing! Thank you!
We were looking forward to trying this place out based on the reviews. Ordered 2 fish dinners, wings, and a polish boy. Polish boy didn’t have coleslaw on it because they ran out only 1 hr after opening meaning they just didn’t have any in stock to begin with and the BBQ sauce tasted more like ketchup than BBQ sauce, the meat was fried way too long, super dry and looked black. The perch fish dinner was delicious! The fried cod was okay but very small cuts of fish. The wings on the other hand are the smallest “whole wings” I’ve ever seen in my life and they have a very off putting smell. We’re not even eating them and they cost $20. Added photo to show the hot sauce packet is bigger than the size of the wings. Mac and cheese was okay but the greens have zero flavor. I’m honestly completely shocked. I don’t write a ton of reviews and I’m not here to bring a business down but for $85 this was very disappointing. Stick with ordering the fried fish, unless they find a better wing supplier I wouldn’t order them again. The smell is literally making me nauseous while typing this. I love supporting small businesses and I’ve grown up on BBQ spots but this was very disappointing and frankly a waste of money.
